The best Shopify B2B themes in 2026 are Trade, Shopify’s free wholesale theme, and paid themes like Hyper, Maximize and Normcore that list a quick order list and quantity pricing. Warehouse and Empire suit very large catalogs. A theme controls how wholesale buyers browse and order, while pricing and access rules come from native B2B or an app.
We reviewed every theme below from its public Shopify Theme Store listing and the Shopify Help Center. Prices, versions and review figures were verified on 1 October 2026 and can change, so check the live listing before you buy.
What makes a Shopify theme B2B-ready?
A B2B-ready theme is an up-to-date Online Store 2.0 theme that can display Shopify’s native wholesale features without custom code. Since April 2026 those features run on every plan, and our guide to Shopify B2B features covers them in full. On the theme side, four checks matter most:
- Quick order list support. Shopify’s Help Center says the quick order list section is supported on free Shopify themes from version 11.0.0. Older or third-party themes may need the Liquid code Shopify publishes.
- Quantity rules and volume pricing display. Minimums, increments and price breaks must show on the product page. Shopify offers code for themes that don’t.
- New customer accounts. Native B2B requires them, and Trade’s August 2026 update moved its header to that experience.
- Catalog discovery. Wholesale buyers often search by SKU and they’ll filter hard, so a mega menu, enhanced search and filtering are table stakes.
One limit applies to every theme: customizing the theme editor by customer type (B2B versus D2C) is available only on Shopify Plus.
The 8 best Shopify B2B themes
We started with Shopify’s own wholesale theme, then kept only paid themes whose listings state something a wholesale buyer would use. That meant a quick order list, quantity pricing, explicit B2B wording or a large-catalog claim. Enterprise and Vision are popular in other roundups, but their listings make no B2B or quick order claim, so they didn’t make the cut.
One quirk is worth knowing before you read the entries. Several listings still tag quantity pricing as a Shopify Plus feature. Shopify moved quantity rules and price breaks to all plans in April 2026, and theme store tags haven’t all caught up. If you’re on Basic, Grow or Advanced, ask the developer to confirm the current version shows price breaks on your plan. Then test it on a trial theme before you publish. You’ll pay each price below once, in USD.
1. Trade for free, wholesale-first storefronts
Trade is Shopify’s own theme, and its listing describes it as designed specifically for wholesale. It’s the safest starting point for a store testing native B2B.
Best for: Wholesale-only or new B2B stores that want zero theme cost.
Standout features:
- Quick order list, quick view and quick buy
- Quantity rules and volume pricing display
- Mega menu, enhanced search and swatch filters
- Version 16.0.0 (August 2026) adds Shopify’s new customer account experience
Considerations: Reviews are mixed, at 32% positive across 41 reviews. One merchant notes the quick order list doesn’t check stock until the cart.
Pricing: Free (verified Oct 2026).

2. Horizon for free, flexible hybrid stores
Horizon is Shopify’s newer free theme, and the Help Center names it as compatible with B2B features. It suits hybrid brands that want a modern retail look on a free base.
Best for: Hybrid stores where DTC design matters more than bulk ordering.
Standout features:
- Part of Shopify’s Horizon theme collection
- Mega menu and enhanced search
- Product filtering and sorting
- Back-in-stock alerts and quick buy
Considerations: The listing doesn’t include a quick order list, so bulk buyers may need an app. Reviews sit at 35% positive across 208.
Pricing: Free (verified Oct 2026).

3. Hyper for scaling wholesale brands
FoxEcom’s Hyper calls itself a theme for high-growth B2B and wholesale brands, and it’s one of the highest-rated options here. The listing cites advanced pricing rules and bulk order features.
Best for: Established brands with a growing wholesale channel and budget for a premium theme.
Standout features:
- “Wholesale-Optimized” listed as a headline feature
- Quick order list
- Quantity pricing (tagged Shopify Plus on the listing)
- Collection page navigation and mega menu
Considerations: It’s the priciest theme on this list, and setup takes time if you want its pricing display configured well.
Pricing: $400 USD, 99% positive across 507 reviews (verified Oct 2026).

4. Maximize for large tech catalogs with B2B pricing
Omni Themes built Maximize for large-catalog tech stores, and its listing says B2B customers log in to view exclusive pricing. Version 2.1.0 (September 2026) adds a request-for-quote option.
Best for: Electronics or parts sellers with 500+ SKUs and a login-based wholesale tier.
Standout features:
- “Built for wholesale selling” listed as a headline feature
- Quick order list
- Quantity pricing (tagged Shopify Plus)
- Back-in-stock alerts and collection page navigation
Considerations: The design leans toward tech retail, and its 53 reviews are a smaller sample than Warehouse or Empire.
Pricing: $220 USD, 100% positive (verified Oct 2026).

5. Normcore for hybrid DTC and wholesale catalogs
eComX’s Normcore lists “Bulk Buy & B2B/B2C Hybrid” as a headline feature. Its listing describes selling direct-to-consumer and wholesale from the same storefront, which fits hybrid merchants closely.
Best for: Home and furniture brands running retail and wholesale on one store.
Standout features:
- Quick order list
- Quantity pricing (tagged Shopify Plus)
- Smart search and collection page navigation
- Built for 500+ SKU catalogs
Considerations: It has only 33 reviews so far, and the presets focus on home and furniture, so other industries may need more design work.
Pricing: $320 USD, 100% positive (verified Oct 2026).

6. Warehouse for catalogs with thousands of products
Maestrooo’s Warehouse is a long-standing pick for big catalogs. Its listing says collection pages are built to organize and filter catalogs with thousands of products.
Best for: Distributors and parts suppliers whose buyers already know the SKU they want.
Standout features:
- Collection page navigation and swatch filters
- Quantity pricing (tagged Shopify Plus)
- Mega menu with in-menu promos
- Quick buy and recently viewed products
Considerations: The listing doesn’t include a quick order list, and one recent reviewer advises having a developer on hand for updates.
Pricing: $320 USD, 84% positive across 325 reviews (verified Oct 2026).

7. Empire for big catalogs with advanced filters
Pixel Union’s Empire says it’s optimized for big catalogs with advanced filters. Its listing also says it scales with wholesale brands, and it adds a quick order list.
Best for: Marketplace-style stores with many categories and frequent reorders.
Standout features:
- Quick order list
- Advanced filtering and collection page navigation
- Mega menu and enhanced search
- Recently viewed products
Considerations: Quantity pricing isn’t listed among its features, and at 79% positive it’s the lowest-rated paid theme here.
Pricing: $360 USD, 481 reviews (verified Oct 2026).

8. Xtra for a lower-cost paid theme with a quick order list
Xtra, from Someone You Know, is the cheapest paid theme here that lists both a quick order list and quantity pricing. Its pitch centers on built-in features and bulk upsells.
Best for: Budget-conscious hybrid stores that want more than a free theme.
Standout features:
- Quick order list
- Quantity pricing (tagged Shopify Plus)
- Bulk upsells
- Mega menu and collection page navigation
Considerations: The listing doesn’t make a wholesale or B2B claim, and older roundups quote $100 while the live price is now higher.
Pricing: $150 USD, 98% positive across 402 reviews (verified Oct 2026).

How to choose a Shopify B2B theme
What do your wholesale buyers do most often on your store? Start there, because that’s the task the best Shopify B2B theme should shorten.
- Repeat orders of known SKUs. Pick a theme with a quick order list on the listing, such as Trade, Hyper or Empire. Buyers can enter quantities across variants on one table.
- Browsing a deep catalog. Prioritize filtering and collection navigation. Warehouse and Empire are built for this.
- Retail and wholesale on one store. Choose a theme that still sells well to consumers, like Normcore or Horizon.
- Tight budget. Start on Trade, then move to a paid theme once wholesale revenue justifies it.
Test any theme as an unpublished copy with your real catalog and a test B2B company assigned to a catalog. Check that price breaks, minimums and the quick order list all show for that buyer. A demo store with 40 products won’t tell you much about a 4,000-SKU catalog.
Where the theme stops and B2B logic starts
Is a wholesale theme enough to run B2B? No, it isn’t. A theme decides how prices, quantities and order forms look, but it doesn’t decide who sees which price or who can buy at all. That logic lives in native Shopify B2B or in an app.
Native B2B handles companies, catalogs, quantity rules, price breaks and net terms on every plan. Basic, Grow and Advanced stores are capped at three active B2B catalogs, though. Native quantity price breaks also apply one price to every unit once a threshold is reached. Native B2B also doesn’t include a wholesale application form or “log in to see price” for guests.
Shopify’s own Help Center points merchants to third-party apps for locking pages or the whole store. Our roundup of Shopify B2B apps compares the main options. If your theme lacks a quick order list, a dedicated app from our list of quick order form apps fills that gap without a theme switch.
Add wholesale pricing and gated access with B2Bridge
B2Bridge is a Shopify B2B app that adds wholesale pricing and gated access on top of the theme you already use, and your storefront design stays intact.
Its first advantage is scale. Every plan includes unlimited price lists, customer groups and B2B orders, so you won’t hit the three-catalog ceiling non-Plus stores face with native B2B.
It’s also all-in-one. One app covers volume and tiered pricing, quantity rules and MOQs, B2B Lock for hidden prices and locked pages, a registration form with approval, quick order, net terms and RFQ. Midan, for example, restricted its store to verified wholesale buyers this way.
For larger teams, the Sales Rep Portal lets reps order on behalf of accounts, and ERP sync connects NetSuite, Zoho or Odoo through the Public API.
Plans start at $99/month (Professional) after a 14-day free trial. The Sales Rep Portal unlocks on Growth at $199/month. See every tier on the B2Bridge pricing page.

FAQ
What is the best free Shopify B2B theme?
Trade is the best free option because Shopify built it for wholesale. It includes a quick order list and volume pricing display. Horizon is the other free choice, and Shopify lists it as B2B-compatible.
Is the Shopify Trade theme only for Shopify Plus?
No. Trade is free on any plan. Its listing still says Plus merchants can set quantity rules and volume pricing, but Shopify extended those features to Basic, Grow and Advanced in April 2026.
Can I use my current theme for wholesale?
Usually, yes. Update it to the latest version first, because Shopify supports the quick order list on free themes from version 11.0.0. Third-party themes may need Shopify’s published Liquid code or an app.
Does a B2B theme show different prices to wholesale buyers?
Not by itself, because it’ll only display the price Shopify returns. Customer-specific prices come from native B2B catalogs or an app such as B2Bridge, which assigns price lists to customer groups.
Do I need a separate store for wholesale?
You don’t have to. Native B2B and most B2B apps let one store serve retail and wholesale buyers. A theme like Normcore or Horizon keeps the consumer experience strong while wholesale buyers log in.
