Brooklyn Bicycle Co. faced common yet complex challenges when managing wholesale operations alongside DTC sales. From managing pricing per variant, gated wholesale landing pages, and syncing with NetSuite to providing a seamless wholesale buying experience, the team needed a system that could keep up with their growth.

Challenges

Brooklyn Bicycle Co., an urban bike brand known for quality craftsmanship, faced significant challenges in managing their growing wholesale operations. 

They needed to seamlessly sync orders and fulfillment between Shopify and NetSuite while clearly differentiating wholesale orders from retail. NetSuite is a cloud-based business management software that helps companies manage core business processes in a single system, including: ERP, CRM, business accounting, and Ecommerce software. Managing pricing on a per-variant basis, creating gated wholesale landing pages, and providing transparent order history for B2B customers were essential to support their partners effectively. 

Additional needs included shipping rates and discounts based on quantity, cart-level discounts, terms checkout options, and syncing product data, images, and pricing efficiently between systems. 

They also required features like multiple logins under a master account and the ability for customers to manage their addresses, all while maintaining a smooth, branded wholesale experience.

Solution

To address these challenges, Brooklyn Bicycle Co. implemented the B2Bridge – B2B All-in-One app. Using B2Bridge’s app, Brooklyn Bicycle Co. has successfully addressed most of these operational challenges. 

Using B2Bridge’s price list, they can now set variant-specific wholesale prices directly within Shopify, and manual adjustments. Brooklyn can build private, login-only landing pages accessible solely to approved B2B buyers.
